Wanted to sign up this month for 6 month package but reading these posts made me think twice. Integration with XBMC was my first priority but stable streaming is a must. Is there 7 days money back guarantee like ESPN has when/if you servers cant keep up ? I'd hate to shell out 60 - 100 bucks only to get frustrated quickly.

I stupidly signed up since i was bored and of course i'm getting crappy speeds as others described. I'll try later and see if admins will fix this but if not service is useless....

    Speed test 5.5mbps / 0.8mbps ( http://www.speedtest.net/result/594928454.png )

ping 112ms to cn 7 server.

Archived HD+ streams average at 100 - 120k/s. I have bandwith to spare even while game is streaming , i measure about extra 4 mbps on speedtest while streaming HD+ game. Once test finished , stream did not pick up its speed , is stayed at 120k/s.

Choppy playback Is not very nice :-(

I joined for a one month trial. I figure $16.00 is a small price to pay to test the waters. If it is worth it I will stick around, if not it is only $16.00.

    Don't let me down hockeystreams!

    Go Rangers!

I've sent you a private message with steps to trouble shoot. Get back to me once you are able to.

Just a little update... Over the past few days streaming quality has been a lot better. I've had no hiccups or other problems and the stream throughput seems to be full speed.

Every sharks game I've tried to watch since a week or so ago has been consistently terrible, buffering very slowly initially and continuing to buffer every 10-15 seconds throughout.

I pinged the server and it got about 120 ms. I have about 80mbit/sec up & down bandwidth so no problem there.

Also ran a traceroute which you can see a bit of below. You can see there's a pretty huge delay there. Everything beforehand looked as it should. Ran a few more traceroutes and didn't get the same delay, with 120ms being the largest delay over a single hop.

I'm in Sweden, lemme know if you want me to PM my IP.

swex , you're going from paris to montreal , of course there's gonna be a spike but judging from that tracer route , you're getting incredibly good routing... almost hard to believe type of good :-)

i'm also pinging cd-4 and cd-7 servers in 120's ms. I'm on 20mbit connection in 1 condo , 8mbit connection in 2nd condo , 2 different providers , 2 different routes to montreal , and struggling to keep up with HD+ streams. HD doesnt buffer , or max once every 10 - 15 minutes which i can accept , but HD+ is unwatchable.

You're yet another EU user that has problems with streams. Few pages back there was a user from russia and finland and i'm from Czech. I'd bet it has something to do with hockeystreams provider's transatlantic connection or EU bandwidth.

Thanks for the insight. That said, I'm much less interested in the cause than the if and when it will be fixed. Its VERY frustrating not to be able to watch my games, especially when I'm waking up at 1AM / 4AM to watch them.

I reported the issues in the chat a few days ago while watching HD+ and the solution that was given to me was watch HD instead. Which of course was no better... Even the HQ streams are lagging like crazy for me right now.

    First impression..
What can I say? The Rangers/Leaf stream was awesome on a high traffic night.

I hope my future viewings are just as good.
