    What is HockeyStreams iStream™?
    HockeyStreams iStream is a mobile media serving platform that will deliver live and on-demand feeds to iDevices (iPhone, iPad, iPod).

    How can I access iStream?
    To access iStream simply navigate to our iSite on your iDevice. http://m.hockeystreams.com

    How much is iStream?
    iStream™ pricing is not included in either the Premium or the Premium Gold™ membership. It is it's own membership.

    Introductory Donation breakdowns are as such:

    1 Day - $3.97
    1 Week - $6.97
    1 Month - $9.97
    3 Months - $23.97
    6 Months - $39.97
    1 Year - $54.97

    When the service is launched officially the following will take effect:

    1 Day - $4.97
    1 Week - $7.97
    1 Month - $10.97
    3 Months - $27.97
    6 Months - $89.97
    1 Year - $63.97


    What other features does iStream provide?
    iStream provides you with live DVR controls. You can pause, rewind and fast forward LIVE streams straight from your mobile device.

    Streams are broadcasted at an adaptive bitrate that changes depending on your internet connection. If you are using 3G this is ideal as your speed fluctuates and the stream makes up for it automatically.

    When will we be able to sign up for iStream?
    You can sign up for iStream starting today.

    When is iStream scheduled to be launched?
    You will start seeing iStreams being slowly rolled out starting at the end of pre-season. We expect to have iStream fully rolled out by second half of October.

    Will iStream work on Android based devices?
    We are working on getting iStream to work on Android based devices - As of right now it is not available for Android.

    Thanks for the great service over the past few years. I have always been impressed with the product and customer service you provide.

    I am currently a Premium Gold member. I would like to add the iStream service as well. Would it cost the full amount or is there an upgrade type of price for current members.

    You can go to the subscriptions page and create a new iStream subscription.

    Thanks for the free preview last night, I definitely wanted to make sure it worked before signing up...pretty cool watching hockey on my iPhone 4! Dying to try it on the roommate's iPad. Smooth stream, no buffering or stuttering, easily switch between apps and then resume the game...nice job on this!

    Thanks Been working hard trying to implement it smoothly. You can catch the Red Wings and the Canucks game on iStreams tonight (We will be doing only a couple games per day for testing in Pre-Season.)

    iStream

    is the free preview on tonight for Gold members? when i try to access the m.hockeystreas.com site it shows the Wings/Hawks game yet when i click on it it says Go to Full Site. do you have to subscribe to iStream in order to get the free preview?

    We were having issues with the iStream for the red wings game (part of rolling it out slowly ). We'll have it for the canucks game still though. You can try it then.

    What stream quality are we looking at with this?

    I was hoping it'd be a $10-$20 addition to Premium Gold (or whatever the highest is)... but at this price... I'm thinking that it's one or the other (Premium Gold or iStream)

    What I'm thinking is... will this look any good on a TV and will it stream over 3G?

    It's an adaptive feed so if you're using 3G it will adapt to the bandwidth you're receiving.

    The iStreams over wifi will look as good as tv on an iPad. It will not look very good on a big screen TV.
