Make sure the IP exception you're adding is directly from the iPhone.

Following the directions drPepper wrote works fine - try it again if it didn't work.

I'm getting the same error as you in the same situation.
    1) Downloaded Orb on PC. Set it up. Streamed music just to test.
    2) Downloaded Orb App ($9.99).
    3) Added IP exception to PC IP address. Tried a archived stream that I could access on the website.

    Didn't work.

Then tried the same #1 and #2 but changed:
#3) Added IP exception to Iphone IP Address. Again tried a archived stream that I could access from the website and nothing.

I get the failed screen -- Big green orb circle saying it failed.

Is there any way to add a stream on your iphone, without using your computer (if your computer and ORBLive is open)? Because when I would like to use it when I'm away, but I have to set it up on my computer first and I can't if I want to see a live stream. Thanks

I think currently the only way is via your computer.

This could be done easily enough using a remote desktop / vnc app on the iphone to use your pc remotely and add the stream URL to ORB.

    Just tried this, works great!
But there really needs to be a better way to add the stream through the iphone. The biggest problem seems to be that I can't copy the direct link (even with a 3gs) to put it into the Orb site - I don't want to remote desktop it, too many vulnerabilities.
Needing to add the stream on a PC ahead of time kind of defeats the purpose of having the Iphone to begin with.

servo97 said:I am using the beta version of Orb for mac and trying to get the stream on my iphone through Orb Live app. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get this working? I have an HD plus membership. I can access orb via iphone with no problem. The problem I am having is that the stream doesn't appear to work. I get a failure message after adding the custom channel. Any help at all would be fantastic!

    Thanks,
    Jon

Has anyone resolved this problem? Same thing happens to me with MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard (10.6.2) and Flip4Mac 2.3.0.7. Green orb with Fail. evenutually get a black screen with play arrow but nothing happens.

    Thanks for your help.
