what HS payment plan do you choose ? question.......
I'm wondering what payment plan people choose for hockeystreams, and why you pick that plan. I started off with a one month trial period. That trial ends for me in 6 more days. So I need to decide what I want to do. I'm a bit undecided. The HD plus worked very nicely last night in fact it was flawless. ****Assuming this performance keeps up. I'm not sure if I want the cheapest plan for a year at hundred dollars. It's not the amount of money that is my concern. My concern is the fact that when the season ends I probably won't use the service. Though if I get shorter commitments times it will cost more in the end. I guess I kind of wish we had a full season payment offer. ****Assuming that would include preseason to the stanley cup finals. If the streams were funky in the next 6 days it would be a easy desicion to continue a trial period a bit longer. Though if the streams work very nicely over the remainder of my current trial period. I'm not sure what I want to extend to.

Does anyone have any suggestions ? What has your experience been like ? Do you purchase the year, and only use it for the hockey season ? Does that seem fair to you to pay the year, but not use the service during the off season ? I'm not really interested in the fighting that is shown sometimes. What other things have you watched in the off season on this site ?

    Any ideas/suggestions appreciated.......

I'm in the same situation as you with my one month trial running out in about a week, and I was on the fence about what to do too. I have TSN on TV, so from mid June until September I wouldn't need this site either. I don't know if I can justify paying an extra $40 for 3 months I won't be using.

Here's a thought for the admins though, what if we could put our accounts on hold for the summer? I'd definitely reconsider then.

You could put the account on hold for the summer - Many of our users did so last season and have reactivated earlier this month.

The hold would be from the middle of June - September / October so when we reactivate the account you get to choose if you want it for the pre-season or for the regular season and we credit the account an additional 3 months.

    Thanks

OK so apparently you guys have some tricks up your sleeves

This is good to know that I have this option of putting account on hold. If others have done this then it must be a easy request for you to fulfill. I suppose I will just give the year membership a try then. Seems at this point everything is cool on my end to allow the streams to work properly. So I mine as well take the plunge.

You know I tried a trial day with gamecenter, and I really did not like it. The DVR buttons on the bottom. All the scores of various games on the top. It did not really allow full screen to be a true full screen. A deal breaker when I run the video over to my TV. I actually liked it better last year in this regard. Though the blackouts ran me away this year.

So at this point you are my main source for hockey. The only way I could get center ice is via sat TV cause my cable does not offer it. I don't really support cable anyway. Nor sat TV cause I don't pay those high prices for all the stuff I won't watch. No local games are shown in my market on basic cable cause I live in a rural area in northern California. My favorite team is out of my market area.

The crew here seems dedicated, and it is certainly easier to communicate with you then the NHL.com. So thanks. Hope ya stick around for a while......

Able to put account on hold for summer.....noted.
