    Streaming Trouble
My download speed is 3618 kb/s, my upload speed is 2874 kb/s. To be honest I don't know if that is good or bad...anyway, when I'm streaming a game, it stops to buffer, a lot! I disabled the video acceleration, changed my color quality from 32 bit to 16 bit, turned off the visual effects and it still buffers.

I think it's my wireless network card in my cp. I never have a problem if my internet is hooked up with an ethernet cord. It's just my loss. Other than that, great site, keep it up!!

hey does anyone have any idea why I'm experiencing slow bandwidth?
I click on the Statistics and I see the following:

    Media Connection
maximum bit rate 639.0 kbps bandwidth available 526.9 kbps
selected bit rate 343.5 kbps bandwidth in use 80.9 kbps

    video
    frames skipped 8
    frame rae 29 fps
    actual rate 1.3

Is there any reason why the bandwidth in use is only 80.9? Is there a setting somewhere that will fix this?

It could be that an application was doing updates during that time and was eating up your bandwidth.

hey billy...i have been experiencing some problems too....when i watch the HD games....under statistics where it says : the connection that would enable you to experience this content the best is:1240-that was for boston philadelphialast night.....my network connection is:1685,9......but the content was being received at different speeds the entire time, hence the constant buffering....i'm aware i wont be able to watchthe HD+ games, because I dont have the speed, and I dont mind that at all,but i would really like to watch at least the HD streams, and when atdhe had HD streams i was able to watch them without the buffering.....I hope you can help....THANX

    thanks billy

After I reset the buffer to 60 seconds the bandwidth came up dramatically, but now i get the buffering problem that a lot of people seem to be getting.

Also, a comment on the message from dejongislanders, experiencing a black/blank screen. I had that problem awhile back. I happened to go over my allowable 12gb download limit and my bandwidth was throttled back to dial up speed (58kb) for the remaining days of the billing month. After my maximum speed was reinstated I was still only receiving the game at dial up speed, meaning there was audio but no video. In the end I deleted the temporary internet files and cookies and I was back to normal.
